How to prepare for the Exam?

IB ACIO is going to be conducted in three phases. i.e. Pelims fully objective paper, Mains (Descriptive) and Interview. It's syllabus is mentioned above go through it completely before beginning. Here is the detailed strategy for all three stages:

Tier-I: It is an objective paper which will be conducted in online mode. 100 multiple choice questins are asked from 

  • Quant: 20m ; Quant is a game of strong basic and hard practice. Questions are set moderate to test the Quantitative aptitude of a candidate. It is also of the below or upto the 10th standard so everyone can cover it who has read mathematics till 10th. Mathematics need very strategic study for a substansive amount of time.First complete the basics from any youtube teacher along with practicing previous year questions.Then switch to mocks , in mocks prefere sectional mocks initially once your basic is completed you can switch to  Full mocks and test your speed and accuracy. It is also a game of accuracy so once you achieve a basic understanding of all chapters shift your goal to accuracy and speed.

  • Reasoning: 20 ; These are similar qustions asked in SSC exams , Railway exams, so you can practice from there . Give section tests of SSC CGL, SSC CHSL, RRB NTPC, etc. This will cover almost all type of quesions asked if you solved all  previous 5 years quesion. Remember, In Reasoning it is a game of speed and it is highly scoring . Can be grabbed full marks of it. Ensure you have mastery in these easy topics, like syllogism, counting figures, Relationships, dice etc.

  • English : 20 ; English is a game of understanding. If you have a background in english you can get full marks by completing grammar from Neetu Ma'am Grammar book. For beginners or non background in english, You can initially take a lecture on youtube or anywhere and keep practicing Previous Year Question Papers , once basic is completed you can switch to mocks and practice comprehension. Alongwith all of them keep memorizing vocabulary because it plays a major role in selection.

  •  Current Events : 20 ; Current events is asked for General Awareness of a condidate around. Tier-II : It is a Descriptive paper. Start Writing on current events happening around after the exam is finished it is a crucial paper. Start writing daily and            most important thing is to have a clean handwriting in the descriptive paper.

Tier-III : Interview , after the completion of the Tier-II start preparing for the interview. Try giving mock interview around which will help in easing out of          the fear a new candidate have. Don't worry much about it . Prepare your DAFs and ask people around you to ask question on your daily daily.
